TwinLight

Dive into the tech

TwinLight uses both LightWalker wavelengths in one procedure. Er:YAG gently removes infected tissue and bacterial biofilm from the pocket. Nd:YAG reaches deeper to disinfect the pocket wall and support tissue regeneration.

Because both lasers are in the same unit, you switch between them with one tap. There's no second device and no change of setup mid-procedure.

Er:YAG · 2940 nmCleansRemoves calculus, biofilm and diseased tissue without heating the root.
Nd:YAG · 1064 nmDisinfects and sealsReaches bacteria in the pocket wall and leaves a stable clot on top.

Traditional vs. laser

Traditional perio surgery
TwinLight on the LightWalker
Access to the pocket
Scalpel incision and a flap
No cutting. The laser works through the pocket
Closing up
Sutures
No sutures. A stable clot seals the pocket
Bleeding
Managed during and after surgery
Minimal. Nd:YAG coagulates as it goes
Disinfection
Instruments and rinses reach the surface
Nd:YAG reaches bacteria in the pocket wall
Recovery
Often a week or more of soreness
Most patients are back to normal in 24 to 48 hours

Why it matters: Patients who keep putting off flap surgery will often say yes to a procedure with no scalpel and no stitches.
